LookC AV LookC AV is a new single channel video and audio MPEG recorder. The system is network addressable and designed for remote site monitoring such as retail security and management as well as high tension front desk situations such as Rent Office and Casualty desks. The server records constantly or it can be scheduled in order to save disk space when the site does not need to be recorded. The LookC AV system can record for 20 or 31 days continuously depending on which drive size is selected. This reocrding time can be increased four fold if the LookC AV is only scheduled to record for 8 hours a day for weekdays. This example would give recording days of 80 or 124 days. The LookC AV is available in either a desktop case or a 1u 19" rack casing. The LookC AV system records industry standard MPEG files which can be replayed in the normal Windows Media Player on XP. You download the mpeg file by access the server through an encrypted web service, you simply login and then define the recording start and length, the server then builds a single MPEG movie covering that time period and downloads it to your computer.
