Instant Axess Instant Axess is the World's first Wide Area Access Control System featuring central, secure web controls and door controllers which plug straight into the internet via the standard ethernet corporate network. System managers can control the system through a single, yet powerfull web page account from any web browser. All aspects of the system can be configured through this interface simply and quickly. The door controllers are fully autonomous in the event of any combination of network or power failures thus ensuring good system integrity and functionality even in the most harsh conditions. The controllers feature on board non-volatile memory which means that in the event of a power failure all tags which are meant to be accepted are still accepted and this list will be updated as soon as network connectivity to the secure server can be re-established. No-one gets locked out when they are meant to have access.
Complete Online Tag Holder Management Instant Axess provides powerfull online tools to manage tag holders and their rights. Doors are managed in groups and given a time profile, so when a tag holder is allocated to a group it gives him access through the doors in the group in the time window specified for that group. A tag holder can be in many groups and individual doors can also be included in more than one group. Using this simple idiom system administrators can provide unique access solutions to complex problems. All actions by users of the web based account controls have their actions logged and these can be audited by the system administrator. Therefore the system cannot be abused by authorised users without detection, this means the system is robust enough to manage in a multi-user environment.
Managed Server The web based control accounts for the Instant Axess system is a managed service by LookC Ltd. There is a data handling charge per controller and this covers the service costs. This means you don't have to install & support another server in your server room or seek clearance from IT systems managers. All system data is continually backed up to standby servers and therefore availability is at least 99%.
