Viditag Integrated Access and CCTV Viditag is a new step in integrated systems, previously Access Control and CCTV were entirely separate systems now the Access Control database runs inside the LookC CCTV system. This means that Access Control data and management tools can be accessed through the LookC's encrypted web server and more importantly the images from LookC are related to the Access Control Database. The Viditag door controller controls two doors in a single direction or one door with access control each way. It can store 999 tags locally so that if communications are down or if power to the LookC system goes out then the door and the door controller will operate normally. The controller uses industry standard Wiegand proximity readers so you can use the readers of your choice or those supplied by LookC. There is a RTE (Request to Exit) input for each door as well as a high current activation relay.
Unique Speech Output The Viditag requires no LCD readout since it will announce all important system and operational information using the on board Speech Unit. So during installation for example when the controller is powered up it will tell the engineer if the network is OK and if the LookC system can be contacted and is responding. During operation the controller will announce 'OK' or 'Access Denied' using the internal inbuilt speaker when tags are presented to the readers. The speaker output can be extended to an external speaker if required. The speech feature of Viditag allows the system to be 'passively' monitored by any person within earshot of the speaker. This provides greater security over traditional systems with the added backup of recorded and live video linked to Access Control events.
Simple Web Management The Viditag system is simple to use and manage since it uses the same proven, encrypted web server technology which LookC has developed over 5 years. The simple intuitive layout allows the user to manage the system form any point on the Local Area Netowrk or the Internet using a normal web browser. The powerfull features allow you to arrange doors into security groups to apply to individuals as well as seveal time profiles. This means that creating a new user record and assigning rights can be done quickly whether you are sitting right next to the person and the reader or 10,000 miles away. Because its web based there is no messy client software to install so you could literally do it from an internet cafe in New York or Newcastle.	Enlarge
